This notice covers the Unifounder waitlist. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, and — only if you choose to answer it — your reply to “How did you hear about us?”. That optional field is free text; please don’t put anything sensitive in it.

We also collect aggregate usage data about this website: which pages were viewed, which buttons were clicked, the type of device, and the website you arrived from. This is measured without cookies. We do not store your IP address, we do not build a profile of you, and we cannot recognise you when you come back.

Why we collect it

The email address exists for one purpose: to invite you to Unifounder when your turn on the waitlist comes. We will not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

If we ever want to send you something that is not your invitation, we will ask you separately first.

The aggregate website data is used to work out which pages and channels are worth continuing with.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) to hold your email address and send you your invitation. You gave it by typing your address into the waitlist form and asking to be invited. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your entry — withdrawing is as easy as joining was.

For the aggregate website measurement we rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding which pages and channels are worth continuing with. Because it sets no cookies, stores no IP address and builds no profile, it cannot be used to identify you.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry for up to 24 months from the day you join, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. After that we delete it.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and store the waitlist: Vercel (hosting), Turso (database) and PostHog (aggregate, cookieless website analytics, hosted in the EU). They process this data on our instructions only.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or the UK you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing it. Email us and we will act on it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

To be removed from the waitlist, email us and say so. Nothing else is required and we will not ask you why.

Who we are

Unifounder is run by Giuseppe Tomasello, trading as Unifounder.AI. He is the data controller for everything described above, and the person who reads the mail. Contact: giuseppe.tomasello@unifounder.ai.

If this changes — for example when Unifounder is incorporated as a company — we will update this page.
